Today like many Pubs, we are not really a drinking Pub. However  there is a bar of cosy dimensions, so if you want a pint, you are certainly welcome and here you find locals regularly engaged in lively debate.
Originally a small farmhouse built over 400 years ago, then a roadside coach house, the same
family living here for 300 years and a pub for the last century. It has its share of history including
its ghost and talk of a tunnel to the Church.
The Pub boasts to have one of the finest crown Bowling greens in Cheshire, it foundations laid in
1927 using rabbit meadow grass.
